My main interests were as an artist and photographer (loved both mediums). I remember visiting zoos for my drawings and painting of animals. My interests grew and I joined a camera club, finding out where I was with my photography - I have the dubious result of a slide receiving 2 out of 20!! That made me ever more determined!! Film was the medium then (I used Fuji Velvia, and Agfa Scala, transparency film). Then using an Olympus OM1. I finally hit the big time when an image of mine won "Photo 98" - £10,000 prize! I made the move to digital in 2007 and since then have followed a steep learning curve.
I hold the qualifications of MPAGB, ARPS, BPE4*, PSA 3* and I am also a PAGB and EAF “A” panel
judge and I adjudicate for the RPS. I enter photographic competitions world wide, have been shortlisted in Wildlife POTY three times and my work has appeared in many books and magazines. My ambition is to eventually have an image in Wildlife POTY! - maybe one day. Still passionate about photography!!!
